Here to There is an interactive drawing and sound installation that simulates the experience of going from one place to another. Using drawing as a metaphor of traveling on land and water, the viewer is invited to build upon what is already drawn and create their own paths. As they draw, sounds are triggered to enhance the experience.
The exhibition starts with two pieces of paper, one with three graphite lines that symbolize waves and another three graphite lines that represent barriers on land. As the viewer draws on the paper, sounds that are associated with the experience of traveling on land and water will be triggered, morphed, and distorted based on how the audience draw.

Demo
This installation was created during the Kourmaria Residency and exhibited at the Onassis Cultural Center in October, 2016. I collaborated with Alexandros Drymonitis, who designed the sound for this exhibit.
